FOOT THE COACHER is a brand that began in 2000 with the philosophy of designer Toshinosuke Takegahara in Japan, 'Be a wearer and make your own shoes'.

The founder, Takegahara, had experience in honing his craftsmanship by taking charge of the bespoke line at Tricus, a traditional British shoe brand. Based on that experience, Foot the Coach carefully selects high-quality leather materials and manufactures shoes in Italy, France, and England, which are famous for producing leather, including Japan. The modern design is inspired by work shoes or daily shoes from the early 1900s. From the beginning of the brand until now, we aim to produce top-class casual shoes without compromising on manufacturing method or quality with skilled craftsmen in Japan.

FTC2034001 is an item that has a simple design that makes the luxurious leather material stand out. The design reinterprets the elements of formal dress shoes with Foot the Coach's modern sensibility. Especially, the plain toe design reminds me of 'gentle gentleman in London'. The upper is made of water-repellent all-weather leather, and the outsole uses the original Luftgepolsterte sohle, which has excellent adhesion and durability, to provide excellent grip. The unique elegant mood of the shoes is a classic item that blends naturally with business as well as daily wear.
