MIDORIKAWA (Midorikawa) was started by Taku Midorikawa, a designer who had been in the art industry for a long time after graduating from Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo. Midorikawa thought that it was very important when designing to have an attitude that does not have any rules or prejudice outside the conceptual framework. This is why he established his own label, 'Midorikawa', in 2017 after going through various art projects.

Midorikawa aims to create clothes that inspire people based on traditional Japanese techniques and craftsmanship. Every piece of clothing is made in very small batches and is like an elegant piece of art. In 2021, Midorikawa was selected as one of the 20 new designers at LVMH PRIZE, which is considered the most prestigious award today, and was recognized for its unique worldview and is greatly loved by maniacs from around the world.
