NICK FOUQUET with bohemian sensibility freely enjoying the west. Sustainable beaver fur felt is used as the main material through an eco-friendly process, and in the small but creatively colored atelier, it is shaped using steamers and hat rims, creating each collection with its own personality.

Founder NICK FOUQUET, who loves the vitality and rejuvenation of the great outdoors, fell in love with the world of hat making through a chance encounter with a Venice Beach cowboy. The cowboy told me that it was a handmade hat, and at that moment, NICK FOUQUET felt that it had a soul and said, “This is a real hat.” It is said that he had the idea. He then settles in Venice, California, where he takes pattern making and design classes at Otis College of Art and Design, during which he visits an old hat store, buys vintage equipment from the store, and starts making hats. That equipment is used today to make hats in his atelier in California. His hats are as experimental as his free-spirited personality, featuring a carefree western style trimmed with signature details of matchsticks, feathers and ribbons. He prefers to be inspired rather than sketching his designs beforehand. Currently, we are presenting not only hats, but also various collections that contain the beautiful colors and freedom of nature, and you can meet colors and details with a modern and bohemian style.

Nick Fouquet's natural colors are expressed in materials and embroidery. 'NF' is embroidered on the sleeve in blue tones, and the signature match embroidery is added to the front.
