Universal Works was inspired by David's formative years when he grew up in the Midlands town of the 70s as a member of a working class family who loved dressing up and loved dressing up on weekends to see his father and uncle in work clothes.
The first collection began in 2009, when David Keyte worked on a table to create modern, stylish clothes based on good design and fit, without excessive force.
